This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which CALMCO LTD, will process any personal data we collect from you, or which you provide to us, in the course of using our site www.calmco.me ("site) and our other linked websites www.calmacademy.com, www.calmclan.com and www.sandynewbigging.com. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 we are the data controller.
Your privacy is extremely important to CALMCO LTD. This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that we collect, and the ways in which CALMCO LTD uses that personal information.
When do we collect information?
When you subscribe to our newsletter or register for our services - online webinar, course, coaching or during certain promotions when you are invited to provide your name and email address in order to receive a gift.
What information do we collect?
When placing an order or filling out a form on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, postal address, telephone number or email address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any information we collect from you may be used in the following ways:
To send periodic emails - mainly - CALMCO Newsletter and Calm Times article updates. The email address you provide for order processing may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, as well as timely company news and announcements regarding related products and services. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.To personalize your experience, your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs.
To improve our website. We strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
To improve customer service. Your information helps us to more efficiently respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
To process transactions. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested by the customer.
To administer a contest, promotion, survey, or other site feature.
How do we protect your information?
CALMCO LTD implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Our email mailing list is held inside MailChimp. If a form is submitted then a copy of the form is held within Sandy Newbigging’s (Director of CALMCO LTD) email system so that we can contact you about your order. Only Sandy and his personal assistant have access to any information provided and everything is password protected.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
No. Never. CALMCO does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. The information with this website, techniques and exercises provided within these free and paid home study course resources and products are for educational purposes only. Do not use the techniques or exercises contained within some of these products whilst driving or operating machinery, or if you suffer from epilepsy, clinical depression or any other nervous or psychiatric conditions. The information provided is not a substitute for proper medical advice. If in doubt, please consult your doctor or licensed medical practitioner.
Any decision you make having received any of Sandy Newbigging's products or services are your own and you remain wholly responsible for any decisions and actions you take.
Health Policy
You are only allowed to attend our clinic, training course/workshop or retreat if you are of good enough health to get to and from the location without support and look after yourself during your time with us. No claims are being made that our methods can heal physical conditions. Our clinics, courses, retreats or products should not substitute for the advice and treatment of a physician, doctor or other licensed health-care professional.
Refunds for Home Study Courses
A full refund is available up until you have your first Skype meeting with your dedicated coach or receive the passwords that give you access to the online course materials, then no refunds are available. We are fully committed to you and it is in your best interest to complete the course. If you have any difficulties arise during the course, then talk it through with your dedicated coach trainer. Challenges are best faced sooner rather than later and can often be highly beneficial learning and growth opportunities.
There is a 1-year limit on completing any mentoring package with Sandy Newbigging. After this time, any unused mentoring sessions will not longer be available. All Calm Academy courses have clear time limits advertised. If you reach the time limit and still want to graduate, you will be required to pay a monthly fee until you graduates.
Bookings and Payments with 3rd Party Practitioners
No money should be paid directly to your dedicated coach trainer. They should never ask you to pay anything. Please let us know if they do.
Please contact your dedicated Coach Trainer with any questions you may have in relation to Skype session dates and times.
Disclaimer
I understand that using any advice or technique shared by Sandy C. Newbigging or CALMCO LTD is completely voluntary, under my own free will and at my own risk.
I also understand that no assurance guaranteeing my safety is being made and I agree to hold SANDY NEWBIGGING or CALMCO LTD, the sponsors, facilitators, organisers and property owners completely harmless of all liability if I sustain any injury (except for any injury which is caused by SANDY NEWBIGGING’s negligence or fraud or the negligence or fraud of any other party listed above). By agreeing to this waiver, I agree to assume full responsibility for any injury or injuries, physical, emotional and mental, that I may sustain when using ‘Calmology’ which is not caused by SANDY NEWBIGGING’s negligence or fraud (or the negligence or fraud of any other party listed above).
I also understand that SANDY NEWBIGGING or CALMCO LTD shall not be liable to me, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss of profit, or for any indirect or consequential loss sustained by me or any third party arising under, or in connection with, me practising ‘Calmology’. However, nothing in this Disclaimer shall limit or exclude SANDY NEWBIGGING’S liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or the negligence of its employees, agents or subcontractors or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
